Designers! How many ecovers could you make in a day?

I'm thinking of outsourcing ecover design on a regular basis. The problem is, I don't know what to expect from the ecover designer I may end up hiring.

If you use one of the excellent photoshop action scripts out there, how much time does it take you to make a "simple" cover?

And how many could you make in a day?

It has too look good, but doesn't need loads of images and custom graphics incorporated. The purpose is partially branding my business, so I'm guessing that many elements, could be used again and again, in different colours, styles and so on.

I know this question is too general to give a specific answer to, but I'll happily take some general answers too, either you are a designer or someone who outsources design on a regular basis.

And yes, I know a spectacular cover could take days to make and fine tune, but how long will it take if you settle for "good" or "better than 90% of the ecovers out there"?

No more than 30 minutes per cover - one's that look good and of quality.

    I've created plenty.

    Here's a few I've made...

Nice work, especially considered the time used per cover. Does you find it faster to make a new cover based on an existing cover (if you had a plr product wich already had a cover), or is it faster just to make one from scratch?
