I have 1 video on page 1 for a week now but today it has suddenly dropped to page 3. This is weird, how could that happened? So how to maintain youtube rank on google? How do I rank it back to where its used to be? Thanks

The rankings depend not only on your video but also on algo changes and other videos' appearances.
Try to change your title, tags and description (but look at your competitors first), do some blogging with the video, build backlinks, engage users through social media.

Even though your video was on page one, there is no guarantee that it will stay up there for a long time. You need to take into consideration that there are other videos there that are very similar to yours.

Anyone can find a video that gets a lot of hits and lots of search engine traffic and copy almost the same title and get their video ranked the highest.

The best advice I can give you is to upload more and more videos on a consistent basis and don't put all your eggs into the YouTube marketing game to get traffic.

Yes I know it is not guaranteed on page one for long time. Yes that is a good advice for me, I have to make more video for it. Hopefully can steal back my page one rank. Thanks.

Another great thing to know is how strong the competition of the YouTube Videos that you're going up against prior to trying to compete with those videos & the keywords that you intend on ranking for. You need to make sure that the strength of competition isn't too high to begin with...
