squeeze page converts well but no sales!

Hello Warriors,

I recently bought two solos (from the same provider) that I directed to the same squeeze page.

The first was 200 clicks, got me 3 sales (form the opt-in) and nothing on the OTO

The second (about 10 days later) was 300 clicks, got me 0 sales (from the opt-in) and 1 sale form the OTO.

My squeeze page converted about 37% both time.
My front end offer is DCSX
My OTO is a $9 package with OTOGoldmine

Any help on what I should do to make more sales on the front end?

Thanks guys
Eric

What are your sales pages like. You are satisfied with what the squeeze page is doing...37%...is the next step in the process your sales page...that could be where the problems are.

please update this thread when you find out the problem...I am interested to know how it turns out.

My sales page is a video. I'm promoting DotComSecretsX so they end up at the sales video of DCSX....Apparently this video's suppose to convert at 16% with cold traffic!

If that would be true, why would they need affiliates???

solo traffic usually needs to be warmed up over time, you really want to blow them away with great content, and create a real experience for them the moment they subscribe.

What you must realize is that these people are constantly being bombarded with nothing but offers, usually low quality offers.

This is what you should do, get on every single solo list your plan to buy space in, then see what everyone else is doing, then do the exact opposite.

Once they are subscribed to your list, make sure to treat them better than gold, follow up with them , and not just with offers but with solid content.

Good idea to get on solo list!...never thought about that!...Thanks

I do try to treat my subscribers like gold.
Here's how I set up my email sequence:

-first 4 emails are about the front end offer (DotComSecretsX)
-starting on the 5th email I start coaching them on how to build a list (squeeze page, auto responder, solos, list relationship etc..)
Within those coaching email I propose tools (products with my affiliate link) that will help them along

What you think about that sequence?

Run more ads so that you can get more traffic. Diversify your advertising venues. Incorporate PPC, blog advertising, high traffic website advertising into the mix.... and also do alot of free marketing.

Marketing is marketing, and if you can break even and still get a customer for free... i still say you're in a good position. Cause you can make your profits from each new customer that you get from breaking even.
