Hello - new to CPA - wondering if I have a VPS, will I be able to run Prosper202 plus multiple landing pages & websites all from the same VPS?

Cheers!

I don't see why not. If a VPS lets you run one, I don't see why it wouldn't let you run multiple. They'll all need their own domains, I'm assuming.

Yes, you can. Usually you can host unlimited domain names and websites on your VPS.

If you want to be certain about that, you may always confirm with your VPS provider.

You sure can do that on VPS. It's the best server platform you should use for your affiliate sites.

Actually, if you are doing PPC campaings, it's better to have a VPS, since you usually have a faster response from your sites and less downtime.

Unless you are using tons of resources OR need root access/isolation, there is no need for a VPS, despite what other no-it-all's say. There's too many people here trying to shove you into a VPS because they heard someone else tell someone else.

The 2 VPS hosts I recommend out there are Linode and pgrmr. If you're new to VPS, get Linode and then hire somebody off odesk from asia to manage it for you at $10/hr whenever necessary.

Or well, you can buy into all the other stuff and pay more fees and stuff for cpanel etc etc, if you're not a techie. VPS is faster, and looks better especially when you have a dedicated IP. Even if your site isn't that big your website visitors will appreciate the faster load time. Google rankings like fast loading websites as well.

thx a lot for all the replies - very helpful

Does number of IP addresses matter? I have no idea what I might do with multiple IP addresses and these hosting packages offer varying numbers.

Best advice. Don't buy $50 VPS. Go for cheap VPS. You don't even need a freelancer to set it up. Use below guide to set it up yourself.
