Download an Internet marketing manual to begin?

As an entrant into the field of Internet marketing is it necessary that one has to download a manual about Internet marketing and its basics and nuances before beginning to sell his products? Although most material is available for free on the Internet do yo think that it would be beneficial for a novice to download a popular IM manual?

    Yes, you are right here in this sense. I have checked it when I start internet marketing. The Xebidy guide was the first one and google pdf was the next. Anyway, I can prefer to check out this suidoo page to have a look about some online manuals for internet marketing -

      Yes, Squidoo pages that deal with aspects of IM are really informative.

    Ummm.... Depends on what niche you're selling in.

    I mean knowledge of internet marketing is going to help you a lot, but if you're lucky and are already known in your niche then you can contact all your contacts and tell them about it.

    The other thing is, it depends on whether you're promoting your product yourself, or getting other people to do it for you. If other people are doing it for you, and your product is good, you shouldn't need to know about anything other than where those affiliates are.

    I very much like that Noob Guide page. I'd never seen it before. The problem with that for many people here is that it assumes that you already have a product or business to promote. A lot of people come here wanting to learn how to make money on the internet, and they don't yet have a product or business.

    What I generally recommend noobs do is join the War Room. Sort the threads by rating, which puts the five star rated threads at the top. Then begin reading. This should give the noob enough information to decide where their true interests are, and once they determine what they want their online business to be about, they can do further research in that specific area, then get to work. After they determine what it is that they really want to do in terms of a product or business, that Noob Guide would be very helpful.
