Any Amazon affiliates using Go2geo?
Go2geo looks intriguing. It's a simple form of geo-targeting.
If you're promoting an Amazon product, you place one link on your site, but your visitor will be redirected to any one of several stores, depending on where they live.
For example, the link would take a UK visitor to Amazon's UK store, and a Canadian would land at Amazon's Canadian store, etc.
In theory, it should increase your sales because at the moment, if you're in one country and your visitor is in another, they want to arrive their LOCAL store, not at one overseas that uses a foreign currency and has longer shipping times. So lots of affiliate sales must be being lost.
I was so impressed with the idea, I've written an article on it, but I'd love to hear from Amazon associates who have tested Go2geo. I'd like to be able to update my article with some test results.
