Hi Guys

I am just about to go over 500 subscribers with Aweber and the thing is subscription charges start to increase.

Due to being off work sick i need to watch every penny.

On a recent search i came across Trafficwave does anyone recomend them know of any other good cheap or free Autoresponders that do not charge for subscribers as they increase?

I really like Aweber but i need to cut down on my Internet Marketing costs.

Aren't you making money to cover your costs with those 500 subscribers?

I haven't yet tried trafficwave personally, but I have tried a few Autoresponders and found AWeber to be the best.

You will need to check if Trafficwave allows you to import your list from aweber directly to them without needing them to opt-in again. If they do, then you would be okay, until you have to move back to aweber who do require you to opt-in once more. So you will lose subscribers.

Personally, I'd concentrate on making your list more responsive so it makes you more money, rather than worrying about that - it's the cost of doing business IMHO.

If you did change over you still have the same list, so you might save a bit of money, but wouldn't it be better to improve the rates on the whole of your list, and have the money to pay for your costs? I'd certainly think so.

I'm not having a go, but for me, that's the wrong mentality to have if you want a successful business, instead you should be thinking about how you can make the money to pay for that list. Do a few fiverr gigs or something like that instead??

I have made a little money from the list but its not constant enough to keep paying the monthly fees due to being of work sick!

I think the problem was when i started the list i may have given out too many freebies and that most people just expect to receive the freebies and not purchase anything.

Try mailchimp, free and very good but you could only have maximum 2000 subs in the list in free plan.

You may have a list and not promote them for many reasons, maybe you want to build the relationship. Anyways I use Amazon SES, check it out: aws.amazon.com

It costs 10 cent for 1,000 emails sent. Will need a plugin to make it work with wordpress or so.

I moved from aweber to imnica about 1 year ago and it was the worst decision I ever made..

I had 5k subs at aweber and thought imnica might be better (and cheaper).. but hell no it was not.. I lost the 5k subs..

Now I am back with aweber and ive build my list back up to 8k.. I'm never leaving them again

If I were you, I would concentrate on learning how to best monetize that list that you have. You should definitely be generating enough money with 500 subscribers to cover your monthly autoresponder costs. In the meantime I would recommend you trying out something free such as Mailchimp or Listwire.

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.
