1)first thing first:
i wanna know first, who the heck are you ?
did you ever reached 50% conversion ?
the REASON is:
i just wanna heard answer JUST from those who succeed...

2)second thing is:
yes is it true that my english is not good,im sorry,
and i hope you understand...

3)WHAT I DO RIGHT NOW IS:
i got 2000 email list=REAL LIST in HEALTH NICHE...
im giving away stuff for free and already follow it up about 4 weeks,
90% open rate and not good BUT great feedback...

4)THE GRAND QUESTION IS THIS:
how to get 50% conversion rate with my email list ?

should i keep following them longer ?

i think 4 weeks is enough right to promote something ?

and most important is
IS THAT GUARANTEED THAT THEY GONNA BUY IF I PROMOTE SOMETHING ?

should i sell something cheap first ?

right now im thinking to promote a clickbank product as a JV that cost 97 dollar in health niche...

the thing that im scared:
let say im keep following them, like 8-10 weeks, and then throw some offer,
and then i just got 5% conversion.... ooooo SH***********T !!!!!

5)impossible ? oh come on ! i know someone out there ever reached 50% conversion with list right ? but how ?

    Hi,

I got a 76% conversion to my list the other day (well, 76.47% to be exact)....by offering my targeted list an awesome freebie. 76% of those who opened it clicked through to receive the freebie...

It's a lot easier when you're giving something away ;-)

        Very interesting reading.

How about asking a sales copy pro for advice?

I hope I'm not being offensive when I say this, but have someone else write your emails. If the email you are sending looks like that post (poor english), many people will delete it immediately.

My best converting offer was an affiliate offer.

I mailed it to 572 people.
    194 people opened the email.
173 people went to the sales page.
    83 people purchased the offer.

That is a 34% open rate.
With an 89% click-through rate (CTR).
    And a 48% sales conversion.

If you train your readers that they will get lots of freebies from you, then they have no reason to buy from you.

You don't want to give them lots of stuff. Instead, you want to give them lots of value.

And, value isn't defined solely as free information, but rather, information that will help them achieve their goals.

For example, if you present a paid product to them that will help them solve a problem, and you have given them the information they need to make a good purchase decision, then you will have given them the kind of value they expect from you.

I hate to agree with the person who posted ahead of me, since people don't always hold bad spelling and grammar against you, but this is a question of "good communication". In order to be successful, you need to be able to communicate with your readers at a level that they believe they are getting real value from you.

You can continue to sell products written in English, even if your sales copy is written in your native language, and delivered to people in your home country. "Good communication" is so important to the process that doing this might be the best decision you will ever make in your business.

Your open rate is very impressive many people would struggle to get a 90% open rate!
I take it you are here for advise on conversions.
Well you need to find an offer that is highly targeted towards you subscribers. If you don't know your subscribers very well then you should take some time to learn about them.
In truth everyone's list is different, it depends where you get your traffic and opt ins from. Take some time to play around with your messages and offers and take note of what works best!
    All the best,
    Nathan

Yesterday I had 60 or so people view my opt in page from free traffic sources. Out of that 60 people, 20 subscribed to my newsletter. This is a good conversion in my own view. I wish I had all of them opt into my newsletter but I guess that this is almost impossible.

    Jack,

Your traffic source and how your prospects are initially engaged are perhaps the most important factors for higher conversions. IMO, the worst method of building a list is incentivizing optins with freebies. Proven buyers result in high subsequent conversions. For example, no one ever gets on my lists without first making at least a nominal purchase.

It is also essential to regularly clean your lists by culling non-responsive dead beats. If you start to focus more on subscribers who are actually doing things, such as opening, clicking and buying, then you’re dealing with that core group and getting more out of customers who are actively involved. In ongoing testing within my niches, I have consistently found that nearly 80% of sales are made within the first 23 emails.

Emails are sent on a daily basis which include niche-specific info, tips, reviews, free bonuses, stories, jokes, and always one specific product promotion with increasingly stronger copywriting. Buyers are continually moved to another list in the product promotion queue for the next sales cycle. Non-responsive subscribers within any sales cycle are removed every 3-4 months depending upon the niche.

My sales model is fundamentally designed to find only qualified buyers and to screen out freebie seekers or tire kickers. Admittedly, this process builds much smaller lists and perhaps misses a significant number of eventual buyers, but I do consistently maintain a sales conversion rate of well over 50% within any given 3-4 month promotion cycle.
