Need Your Help ! Lefties?

I have been on the Blog scene for a while now but I just started getting into the niche marketing scene. I Created this website: WHY ARE PEOPLE LEFT HANDED - The Best Left Handed Website Around a little less than a week ago, it isn't 100% complete but it's pretty much there.

Can I please get some constructive criticism and also any tips to securing a targeted group of people? The one thing going for me is that I completely belong to this specific niche so the "consumer" so to speak is me.

I also tried to go for a long tailed keyword that was heavily searched. I'm not asking how to get traffic, the site is brand new, traffic will come in due time, just wondering if this niche is aesthetically pleasing. The Goal at first is to gain some adsense income, and then some "Left Handed" Product affiliate income.

Please let me know what you think! Thank You!

Personally I felt the articles were kind of a yawn. They need some humor, some sort of twist.

For an example of the kind of article I'm talking about see Cracked.com - America's Only Humor Site | Cracked.com , which are consistently funny and the sort of things that get shared.

As is, it feels like you're writing for the search engines, instead of real
    people.

    Good luck.

Thanks for the advice! Your absolutely right about writing for the search engines, I am guilty of that. I just wanted to fill in some pages in the meantime while I come up with some more creative articles. I appreciate the feedback Warrior X! Thanks!

        Jeff, I'd have to disagree.

People are searching for Left Handed Pens, and Left Handed Guitars quite frequently. Theirs plenty of left handed products and I am a part of the "market" for them.

Jeff may I ask, are you left handed yourself?

However, I do appreciate the feedback, Thank You!

Hey Greedy, no worries about sounding "harsh", That's the reason I posted on here in the first place, I could use the advice.

Monetizing for now is a good question. I am currently waiting for a couple of affiliate approvals and I am going to go from there.

I'm always fascinated by reading things about lefties, I guess you just need to be left handed to understand.

          Thanks!

Interesting way to target a niche where everything is related to left hand. Interesting topics but I personally do not whether this niche market is profitable or not. You might need to drive some traffic in order to know the results. All the best in your testing

I'm a leftie. Not sure I see the point of the site really? I get to the site and wonder why I'm reading "Why are some people left handed"?? What I'm really thinking is, how is this going to improve my life if I know the answer. I want some help, or to have something revealed to me that is amazing information, or at least not well known.

I think if you're appealing to left handed people and telling them why they're left handed. They probably already know that it's how they were born. If you're like me you learn to use right handed tools either right handed or at a funny angle with the left hand. The by-product of conforming might be something more worthwhile persuing - such as messy writing - ink prints on the page (from your hand!) Personally though, it wouldn't interest me in the slightest.

You need to have a goal with this site - especially if you want to make money off of it. If I hadn't been reviewing I would have been hitting back in a sub-second amount of time.

I mean some people like to have left handed scissors and calligraphy pens and stuff, so I can see that you could sell stuff. Personally I don't, as I learnt to use most things with either hand (actually calligraphy would be one thing that would be useful, if I did it!)

Do you know someone who is having problems with being left handed? If so, that IS what you want focus on.

I think you're going to get a high bounce rate on the site unless you have something attention grabbing that will appeal to your niche readership, and currently it doesn't.

If you can get a decent amount of traffic, then I'm sure you can monetise the site.

If people were depressed because they're left handed, that could be something to target, but I haven't met anyone who is specifically because of that. In fact most people are proud of being left handed. Be interesting to see things like how many successful inventors or business people are left handed, and if that in any way relates to being left handed. I say this because I was lead to believe that being left handed means that you're more 'wired' for creativity.

I think if that could be proven, you could have a lefties business group, because science says that there may only be 10% of the population, but if we're also 90% of the most successful people in the world...
