WARRIORS BEWARE---Your WSO's may be given away for free.-I Need Senior Warrior Advice on this!

Hey Guys and gals,

I wanted to let you know that there is a site in which peoples WSO's and programs are being heisted and given away for free....not sure if it is right to list the site here?

I will ask senior Warriors to let me know on that. If it is appropriate to list the site then I will

There is not much you can do about it as the site's servers are in another country.

However, a lot of these members are uploading to Rapid share. You can get the files removed by contacting rapid share and informing them of the copyright infringement.

I have successfully had my files removed and blacklisted so that they cannot be re-uploaded.

I will provide the email that I use to send that gets immediate action.

Make sure your stuff is protected in the WSO section


..............and yes, I realize that this is life and these things happen...but when you know about it...and can do something about it....you should

    In the past, the links have always been removed under the premise that it was simply driving traffic to such sites - but perhaps Warriors can PM you for the link if they suspect their products are being abused?

    That being said - I might hesitate to give out the link to someone with 3 posts of MMM here..... ;-)

    No I don't think it's a good idea to list the site here - the site has been mentioned a few times before and the more people that know about it the more will probably use it. There are a number of sites like this though and it'd be virtually impossible to police them all. I've had a product 'shared' there and I didn't bother trying to pull them up over it because if you do it makes them even more determined to put links to your product all over the net. All we can do is keep trying to delete the links when we find them.

      That is what I was thinking too.....there are 3 - 4 WSO's on there right now, and I have contacted them via PM.

      I just get so fired up with this stuff.....

    As its a serious matter I am sure admin of this wonderful forum can help you.

    Even if server is hosted in other country you can try to contact the domain registrar.

    I remember guys from one other forum faced the same problem but they contacted the registrar and get his domain revoked.

    Sean,

    There are several sites that "share" other people's
    products and listing them is not appropriate.

    A number of warriors monitor these sites and, where
    possible, alert other warriors of copyright violation.

    If you see another warrior's products on such sites,
    then deal with it by PM.

    I have seen several sites like that too. I simply emailed the administrator about the legal action that I would perform if they do not remove my products from that site.
