PLR Product and Testimonials

Hello Warriors,

I want to ask one simple quastion. Actually I need not just answer ,but advice about private label rights and getting testimonials. So how to get testimonials if product rights saying NOT give away product for FREE. So If I need for example 10 testimonials from other people ,but NOT giving them product for free? Maybe it's nothing bad to give for free if I just need review .

Thanks

If you give away a copy in exchange for a testimonial is that giving away the product for free? I suppose this could be interpreted either way.

One interpretation could be that an amount must be charged for the product. But, couldn't another interpretation also be that the person receiving the product has to give or do something in exchange for the product?

In this case, the person has to give a testimonial in exchange for the product. So, I guess you could argue that they are not getting it for free because they have to give a testimonial.

So, it's probably best to contact the PLR Content Provider who created the PLR Product to find out whether it's okay to give away the product in exchange for a testimonial.

How refreshing ... and ethical marketer [and you mean you don't steal photos from online and create fake testimonials??? ]

I personally don't feel giving away a review copy falls under the scope of 'giving the product away', because you are doing so on the backend in exchange for a testimonial -- not on the frontend to a customer.

Will be interesting to see others' opinions on this.

I think there is a difference between a "testimonial" and a "review" ..... a review could be good or bad, including suggestions for improvement. Don't see what is wrong in asking for an "honest review"

I agree with john01a but I can also tell you that the majority of the PLR owners will say it is fine because the real intent behind not giving away for free is to dilute the value of the product by giving it away to lots and lots of people - like a giveaway on an optin page.

And, I would also add a caution . . . that to use PLR effectively you should be rewriting at least 50% of the product to make it original - at least inserting your own voice and way of expressing the ideas - as well as find some new ideas for the product.
