Great way to get into JV's & Connect with top marketers

Hi friends,

In IM field, it is integral to "know people" and work in a team to climb the ladder.

I have found "LINKEDIN" to be a true goldmine to make quality connections. I have myself found top marketing and advertising gurus on LinkedIn. It's easy to connect with them or send a simple message . If you are looking for JV partners, its super easy to find them in the niche of your choice by typing your keyword in the search box "CPA" "Affiliate Marketing" and the likes.

Have you tried it before ? Its a great place for professionals to touch base. I am sure you can make some solid connections and build work relationships easily.

Good luck!
Jo

    Hey Jo...

Yes, LinkedIn is a great resource for connecting with folks. I've noticed a big influx of marketers getting more active over the past 12 months.

Facebook is still a great tool as well to connect with JV Partners.

    All the best

      Hey Sean,

Yeah the popularity of LinkedIn in the IM niche is growing. With groups on internet marketing, social media and the likes going over 10's of thousands of members... its a great way to connect.

Ofcourse Facebook (Esp. the closed JV groups) are seriously rock solid

I actually JUST finally got on Facebook the other day. I'm literally like 10 years behind!!! You're totally right about the private JV groups though, as first order of business was to have a buddy invite me in.

That said, I haven't explored LinkedIn and I'm not super sure what the difference between the 2 really are. From my understanding, it's like a version of Facebook aimed at professionals. Is this about right or am I missing something big about it? I gotta check it out either way, JV connections can really make or break you.

Hey Mike - Don't worry if you are 10 years behind - what's important is that you made it =)

Yeah the closed FB groups are the best.. coz you only get in with an invite - you feel special lol.

LinkedIn is not a social network but a professional network to connect with people, share your resume, post jobs, get jobs, take part in discussions in 10000's of groups of all interests... so yeah its basically online networking .. Fb is more casual .. LinkedIn more professional
