Default WTH? Aren't this guys gonna get sued or sth?

Whats crackin fellas?!

I opened up my inbox and though I'd check out some new products that are poppin up. I was hammered with affiliate links for jeff walker's product launch formula but I noticed another product.

This is not a commercial or something.

Their product is called "Slumdog eMillionaire".

LOL! There is an award winning movie right now called "Slumdog Millionaire" in which a guy is becoming a millionaire blah blah.

Anyway I wonder how they are not worried about this? Can these guys sue them?

Anyway the sales letter says it all.

Quote:
d now I'm going to give you some BAD news:
Web 2.0 SUCKS; SEO SUCKS; Adwords SUCKS ... actually all the following suck...
Pop ups, Pop Exits, Articles, Link Building, Classified Ads, CPA Networks, Text Ads, Co-Registration, Banner Ads, Social Networking, eMail Drops and Media Buys
You see NONE of these are consistent!
I was like, wtf?

Web 2.0 sucks? seo sucks? adwords sucks?

I mean come on.

Sell that to some idiots that don't know how to start a gmail account.

What's the point of this?

Would you do the same?.

I was hoping Google would sue me over my product name, but it didn't happen.

As for the Slumdog eMillionaire, I don't think Fox Searchlight or Warner Bros. cares enough to sue the creator of the latest ClickBank scam.

Sued for a terrible product name perhaps?

There's no such thing as bad publicity. I know one of the local news broadcasters here in Vegas and I could have been on 6 PM news, "One man vs. a multi-billion dollar corporation. Tune in tonight to hear his story"

More hype and sensationalism created to suck money from the pockets and bank accounts of new people who are mistakenly trying to break into Internet Marketing as opposed to using IM to market and promote a solid business idea.

It's not really copyright infringement, it's trademark infringement (if the Slum Dog Millionaire name has been trademarked). The law clearly states that a close variation of a trademark is in violation of trademark law. However, enforcement of trademark violation is loose at best.

If this were the case then all those adult films that name their movies along the lines of Hollywood blockbusters would get sued all the time.

I'll keep it PG and not go into any specifics.....although I did see one on Showtime the other day that cracked me up...

Instead of "The Davinci Code"....it was "The Davinci Coed".....Get it? LOL.

There a thousands of them.....errr....or so I hear....

Correct, otherwise the whole porn industry would be in ruin - nearly ALL their titles are a play on regular films.
