How do I get Avatar showing in forum?

I uploaded one a while back but yet to have it show up.

    Go to Edit Avatar and then fill out the second section.

    " If you have a custom avatar and want to keep it as it is, leave the fields below as they are.

    Use Custom Avatar

    You may upload a new custom image using the controls below.

    Option 1 - Enter the URL to the Image on Another Website
    Option 2 - Upload Image From Your Computer
    Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 80 by 80 pixels or 50.0 KB (whichever is smaller).

    Make sure you click the radio button near "Use custom Avatar" and then upload your image.

    Not quite: what you've uploaded is actually a "profile photo", not an "avatar". It shows in your profile, but not adjacent to your posts. A little confusing, but they're two entirely separate things.

    (You can reload your profile photo as an avatar as well, if you want to, but will first need to reduce its size to no more than 80 pixels square.)
