Business cards

Do you have or use business cards for your site? I think that it is very important to do this. I always have some on me and hand them out all the time. It really helps to get your site out there.

    I have business cards but they're mainly used when I network with other businesses. I don't personally have them printed for the various niches and pen names that I use.

    Business cards are mostly for networking so use them to that effect, to have your information handy when people want to contact or follow up with you.

    But for prospecting or driving traffic? I've never seen anyone with significant result from it.

    DEFINITELY have some business cards. You never know when you may come across a potential customer. Just to give you an idea how just one of mine worked for me. I had a high school reunion and had a heap done so I could give them out.

    I gave a few to a lady who is a teacher. I got an email from an admin lady from her school a few months later. She found my card on their noticeboard and offered me a 1500 page proofreading job. She did not even know where the card came from. I had to ask on Facebook myself to find out.

    I have gained more work from using them too and always have some in my wallet.

    If you get some of the cheap ones through Vistaprint, you can get 500 for under $10. It's a bargain.
