Product Launch VS Always having product available?

Hey folks

I have a product and a list.

I'm torn between having frequent product launches, VS always having the product available for purchase.

Which has worked out better for you?

The conversion rate matters the most. No point having lots of products if they are not converting.

For me, I prefer to run affiliate marketing. Less budget involved.
Understand that most IM marketers believe that owning products will result more money. Which is not doing well for me. I make more money running other's products. Perhaps, I not so good at creating products. U got to understand your strength and budgets.

Ya create an evergreen sales system, so ongoing delivery of the same product.

Focus on conversions of that one product and send all of your traffic there.

Err, why is it one OR the other?

I do product launches and keep my products selling long after the launch.

So I'm not sure why you are making a distinction between them -- just do both.

you said it urself, frequent product launches. its MOST LIKELY having the product always available.lol why dont you have the product always ready, then once in a while make something, like a twist or somewhat like a launch so that the product will attract more potential buyers.

Will, keeping the product selling after the launch takes the whole urgency aspect away, so I'm afraid of losing sales to procrastination.

Rachel, that's one option I've considered. Doing occasional launches with sales and extra free bonuses.

I can tell you right now, if your whole business model is just launching a product for a week and then ripping it off the market, you are wasting a whole heap of your time and resources.

Why on earth would you not want a product to sell after the launch?

As for urgency, ofcourse you can still have urgency. Have a reduced price for the first 7 days. You don't even need to let people know it will still be for sale after 7 days. If you say 'Special for 7 Days Only' then how are they going to know either way? You then increase the price after 7 days.

It's all in how you market things. I can create just as much urgency with the launch of my evergreen products as those who launch their product for a week and remove them from the market. I've never understood the logic behind that.

I agree with Will. The launch is just the first big push. Why would you not continue to sell after?

You can launch the product at an initial pricing, then increase the pricing for evergreen life (and yes you will still make sales).

If you are not wanting to fluctuate the price point from launch to evergreen you can always have a scarcity bonus on the sales page that is removed after X date which acts as an incentive.
