Looking for advice for upcoming journey to success

Hello fellow warriors,

I'll try to get straight to the point. I want to start my online career and I want your help, advice and a little word of encouragement... I think I know what kind of business model I want to go with, however, whenever I want to start out, I'm a bit afraid whether or not my plan is reasonable and if I'll be able to make my $ online following that model.

What I want to do is tap into affiliate marketing/CPA, and I am really tempted to try media buys for traffic. You know, buying advertising space on other people websites. It seems to me to be the cheapest traffic source to go with, however, what I am afraid of is that I do not really know how to create banners, so they might not convert well if any... I also don't really know whether to go with direct linking or redirect to a landing/squeeze page to build a list and then do a follow ups to sell on back end. I really need a suggestion for that.

I kind of suck at creating squeeze pages so maybe there is a kind of software you would suggest for creating squeeze/landing pages.
Same goes for banners.
I also got only $1000 to invest in this, so I am really looking at least to make somekind of ROI while doing this so I could reinvest into my business.

Basically, I want an advice on whether it's worth trying this business model as a newbie. Maybe there is kind of different business model you would suggest for a newbie like me except for those wordpress blogs...
I also would like to know what's best to promote: affiliate products or CPA offers? Or both? And if affiliate products chosen, should I go with clickbank?

So to sum up: My budget is $1000 for the project. Main traffic source I consider is media buys. Products either affiliate or CPA offers. And integrating autoresponder or direct linking to CPA offers. I guess that's it.

    For squeeze page, I will recommend Gorilla WP Squeeze Page. I can convert up to 50% for some of the niches.

    As for banner, outsource it out to Fiverr or 20dollars.com - online shopping. You shouldn't be too bother with design issues. These can be done up pretty easily.

    $1000 is a good budget to start with.
    The key to success is to test it small. Set a small budget like $20/- per day to test out.
    If the campaign works well, then scale it up big.

    You will not have all successful campaigns. You just need to hit 1/5 correctly. With proper scaling, you can earn back the losses.

    As for course, I am not sure how knowledge you are in marketing. I recommend dotcomsecret for beginner. Try out the trial for$1/-. If you like it, then you continue with the subscription.

    My firm belief is that if you find a mentor in CPA, you'll save time and money in the long run. Otherwise, you'll be scattered and constantly searching for an answer. Find someone who's successful with CPA and do what they do. Best of luck to you.
