Traffic sources for "get your ex back" niche

Apart from SEO (dont want to use this) what kind of traffic sources are a good way to get targeted traffic in the "How to get your ex back niche"?

I have a site created and set up and was originally going to use a traffic method with google alerts but I'm not sure it will work too good now...

It's a crowded niche. Which means there's tons of publishers you can approach for a joint venture.

    Ad swap?

    Solo mailing?

Maybe you can interview them and they can send it to their list?

Maybe you can create a free report with the JV partner and send it to both your lists?

The best traffic source from my experience is just SEO. Rank for a good Keyword and it will help you alot. Believe me.

You ask for a good method beside SEO? Try social media and guestblogging.
OOOOR, Forums are also a good way to get some little traffic.

Getting about 40 views from this forum everyday.

    So, good luck!

You can attain traffic from pinterest and tumblr. Both are really active and useful to get real and related visitors for your niche.

You should be able to do well on POF if you use the right copy, angle, hook.

Its going to be hard to get people to give up their sources but I would say take a look at google alerts - that should help you out a lot

Advertising on dating sites, banner ads on relevant blogs, YT videos, social media, PPC, solo ads to other peoples lists. Should all work.

PPC (Bing ads, Chitika and all the other second tier networks), Youtube and PPV (and probably google alerts too). Just don't do it on Adwords, unless you want your account banned before you can even measure your ROI.

For instance, top referrals to magicofmakingup (according to alexa.com):
    http://acesse.com/
    YouTube

In the top referrals of textyourexback you'll notice Facebook, so that's probably another great source. I don't know if you can target people who recently changed their status from engaged to single, or something like that, but if you could your campaign could probably do well.

You should probably also check out How Do I Get My Ex Boyfriend Back, Ways To Save A Marriage and reverse engineer what they did since they seem to be the top referral for textyourexback.

Apart from organic traffic I think you can get most traffic from social networks like Facebook and Twitter, after that come forum links

Competitive niche. I push it fairly heavily, though not as much as I did. POF is a goldmine if you have the right campaign and lander.

Social media would be a great way as well as marketing on relevant sites with good traffic volumes.

I've been a vendor in the "Ex Back" niche since 2007. I was one of the first to tap into this market. I made a killing on AdWords for 2 years (until Google banned the niche) and built up a pretty big affiliate following on ClickBank after that.

    Best traffic sources:

    1. Plenty of Fish
    2. YouTube Videos
    3. Bing Ads
    4. SEO
    5. Facebook Ads

I made a 10 minute training video that goes into more detail on each traffic source and how to best target each. There's an optin at the bottom of the video so if you want to bypass that and go directly to the affiliate tools section, go here. Hope this helps.

Is it still banned? Because I've been seeing get your ex back ads on there again. I think they're becoming less strict these days. As long as your landing page has some content and a "good user experience" according to them. I'm about to release a product in this niche.

As far as I know it's still banned but I'll look into it again. PPC was by far the best source of traffic I've ever used.

Please let me know -- if you check it out. Because I was planning on using the content network for the product I'm creating. It will be a bummer if I can't use this traffic source.

P.S. I'm guessing at the moment. But I think one of the big reasons there isn't more "ex back" ads on there is because a lot of the promises in the "ex back" vsl's are too absolute. For example, a lot of the VSL's take the Chris Haddad approach (which I love, by the way) by making HUGE promises at the beginning of the video. Almost as a pattern interrupt.

Unfortunately, Google is pretty strict on what you can say. So, you may have to create a separate site with a more toned down approach. For example, instead of saying, "this psychological trick will make your ex crawl over broken glass for you, or what not".

You may have to take a Gary Bencivenga (as in being more candor with your promises) approach like "this technique may give you a fighting chance to get your ex back, etc." I know it sounds kind of weak. But, if you can take advantage of Google's traffic again -- it will probably be worth it.

Here's a good example of the changes you may need to make:

          Normal Venus Factor:

          http://www.venusfactor.com/welcome/

Venus Factor or "vfx body" on google adwords.

          http://www.vfxbody.com/

As you can see, there are no "absolute" claims or promises.

You can try creating a Twitter, or Facebook fan page for New Singles or maybe 'How to Get You Ex Back' then make posts to attract people alike...

Pay per click is probably the best way to go.
