custom wp themes ?

hey everyone,

i have a simple question , yet i can't find a satisfying answer, so i decided to post it here.

What is the typical price to have a custom wp theme created , like a theme where i can easely customize the headers and logo's myself .

anyone can point me into a right direction ?

    Depends on how many hours of work they put into it.

    99% of Wordpress themes are already easily customizable.

    You can edit themes pretty easily yourself, if you just tinker around a bit. Maybe take a few hours to learn some basic HTML, and watch some youtube videos on Wordpress.

    Have you checked the hire section here? I think you can get one created for 40 bucks or so! Possibly less! Otherwise, you can try quicksitestudio.com. I think they charge more though but they over-deliver!

    Have you tried Odesk and all the other freelance sites too?

    custom theme means custom price, all depend on the features you want to be added.

    customizing header image and logo isn't a hard task, default themes like twenty twelve provide a way to do that from the backend so you don't have to touch the code.

    I would agree with retroid.
    Custom theme is much more expensive because it is made for a desired feature that you need. I think your question is how much will cost in having a post type where you can easily edit/change the header and logo of your site isn't it? My best answer for that one is around $30-$50.

    I am planning to redesign my website. Do you guys know how much it would cost to create a custom theme wp site? I'm not trying to fully deviate from one of the nice premium templates out there... but I'll need to customize features here and there... Let me know.

    depends upon all the feature there within. for a good theme, i think $180 would be ok. good means a clean and modern theme with a fully customizable layout, fully widgetized, etc.

    hey everyone,

    thx for all the replies ,
    i know my way around customizing premade themes, but it's never perfectly the way i want it i want a base them ( like a frame ) where i can work my way up to the desired looks , something that can be used over and over again, but always a totally different look, depending on the website's theme and topic

    hence i'm looking to outsource this

    The prices for custom WP themes may vary. However, you can find cheaper WordPress designers on forums rather than searching for them on Google.
