Google analytics shows....

....I have had zero visitors to my site in the last week or so???? I know this is incorrect, but not sure what is going on. I changed my theme around the same time, does this have something to do with it? It still shows that I have the plug in, do I need to put code in again or something, thanks!

Whenever I update my theme, I always forget to re-add the analytics tracking code. It could be that in your case. I've never used a plugin to do it, I just paste the tracking code into the HEADER file for the theme.

Try this: go to your blog homepage. Let the page load. Do View/Source in your browser. Search the source for "google-analytics.com". If it's not there, you need to add it to the HEADER file for your theme.

I took a quick look at your site and the Google Analytics
script is sending the data to "UA-0000000-0".

That's not the Google Analytics code for your site and
that's why no site visitors are being tracked in you Google
    Analytics account.

I don't know what plug-in your using but you need to enter
the relevant code for your Google Analytics account in the
    relevant place.

In fact, I'd recommend not using a plug-in at all and putting
the code in the header or footer files for your theme.

    Dedicated to mutual success,

Neil's suggestion is spot on; you can also look inside your GA account to see if tracking data is being received.

    Path:

Website property==>>Admin==>>Tracking info tab (next to profile tab)

    Hope this helps,

    Hav

I remember pasting the code somewhere before, so I figured that had something to do with it. Thanks everyone. Will try to go and fix it now!

This may be a dumb question, but where do I find the code that I need to paste? I went to google analytics and looked around some, but I am not sure where to find the code??? Thanks.

          They hide it.

Home > Domain Name > Admin > Tracking info

I use the plugin called Google Analytics for WordPress. I have not had any kind of problem with my tracking. What I do is go to the plugin setting and check the box that says manually enter code, and I enter the code and it is added automatically in the header for me.

I get my code by going to the my Google Analytics account and clicking on the site name and then clicking the tracking id.

            Hope this hopes!
