I think it's time to move my site. I dread the thought of it but I think it's time. Who do you guys like and why?

Bluehost are great, but they don't like any nipples. If you want to show off?

The are very strict about any porn.

I have tried several hosting companies over the last few years. I agree with Henry, HostGator is fantastic!

It's not hard to move a wordpress site yourself with the "WordPress Move" plugin which is free. If you dread doing it yourself you can do a full cPanel backup and give that to your new hosting company to restore on your new hosting account.

I almost switched to BlueHost myself, but I've seen 6 or so fellow bloggers complain about their sites going down multiple times in the last few weeks. Deal breaker for me.

I see you're on GoDaddy. Makes sense why you'd want to move. I had them and my site was slow all the time. Never down but always super slow.

I'm on HostGator currently and I have no complaints. My site is always online and fairly speedy, but I am sharing a plan and I need to get my own pretty soon. Might just stay with HostGator on my own plan when the time comes.

I've been with Hostgator, Bluehost, Site5 and several others over the years and in my opinion no one comes close to 1&1. Their domains are way cheaper for registration, they don't charge for things like domain locking and automatic renewal, and offer packages significantly cheaper than most companies. Just as importantly they don't bill you for the year in advance so it doesn't cost you $100 to set up a 2.99 hosting account like most hosts do. ( hostgator bills monthly as well but bluehost wants year paid up front. )

One of the things that makes bluehost so popular is their affiliate program so they get lots of hype online but it's undeserved.

I use Dreamhost. They have problems with down time over the last year or two but have freebies and scripts in their control panel that I'd have a hard time living without.

I have both my sites with LunarPages. I'm used to their interface, Dreanweaver intergrates seamlessly and they offer good coupons from time to time. Their domain reg is expensive tho. Every time I've contact CS, they've answered within hours.

I use hosting from namecheap because that's where I get all my domains. Just seems easier to just have 1 account.

I get all my domain-names at Namecheap, too. That's why I never use them for hosting! (It doesn't matter much to me where I host the sites, as long as it's not where I've registered them).

I like Godaddy. Its simple and you get help real easy.
But there are cheaper methods like Hostgator which is not bad
or Namecheap but both sites make me feel real overwhelmed.
Because to much going on on there site with no directions.

I currently use iPage, no complaints so far. My next recommendation would be HostGator, having used it years ago and also finding no issues to speak of.

I use Go Daddy. It keeps my site running smoothly, even when its latest post goes viral, by automatically spreading traffic spikes across multiple servers.
