MY FIRST PRODUCT....PLEASE HELP !

Ok warriors so lately i have been doing quite well to make some money online, now i want to make some bigger amounts with product creation and list building. I am in a middle of creating my product in the IM and MMO Niche with A LOT Of value and trust me its not another one of those out of date push button systems, its stuff that worked for me and for other people and even the top marketers, its simply truth about making money online as an Internet Marketer.

Now am not here to promote my product but to ask some advice.

My main product contains every single bit of information i gathered online so as i said contains a lot of value and the OTO is a traffic secret which generated/generates a ton of traffic for a really low price.

My question is if i do the method below:
squeeze page------->sales page----------->oto

And my main offer as i said contains a lot of value, should i offer them the oto straight away or should i wait un till they have a look at the main product and realise how good it is and will realise they can trust me. Then Promote that product via email ?

Sorry i know this is long but i really need your help as this is the first ever product i created.

Thanks, Jacob.

If it were me I'd offer it right away. Some people will buy everything you have to offer. Plus, they are already in "buy mode", credit card in hand.

Maybe you could offer it to them later, at a higher price?

Jacob, you can do both. Definitely offer them a OTO - you should then have a post-sale autoresponder sequence that maintain contact with your buyers after the purchase.

Oddly enough I see almost nobody doing this (or at least properly)

You want to first make sure they received their product, then you want to have a post them gives them some tips on working their way through the product, perhaps a use case or two that helps keep them motivated and helps them understand the impact of actually USING your product, a survey that collects information and testomonials automatically from satisfied buyers (and collects the suggestions for improvements from those that would have liked to see more) and certainly within these follow-ups you can re-market the back-end product if they did not get the OTO

Here's how I like to do it... (Full disclosure: I haven't tested putting my normal sales page before the OTO)

Here's how I do it now...

Squeeze page > Low-Priced OTO > Upsell ... Then follow ups

As soon as I get someone to opt in, I offer them my core newbie product at a discount (OTO).

If they take that up, I offer them another product that compliments this one.

And then I have two follow up sequences: One for leads, and one for buyers.

The follow ups for leads is a teaser course, which tries to upgrade them to the core newbie product.

The follow up messages for buyers sells traffic, and a continuation product.

I also send out a new email to all subscribers every day, for general relationship building, and to offer whatever I'm promoting. I usually focus on one of my main products.

    Hope this helps,
    Isaac

Yep, l have just run a WSO, with good results! My WSO had the main product at three price points, (its a WP App) and attached to them 2 OTO's and another as part of the thank you page.

I also made a deal with a fellow warrior, which has given me 23 sales so far, and given my sales funnel a good run.

So, after updating the autoresponder sequence and replacing a product that didn't sell, (wasn't related) l am set to try again.

Some marketers will load up their sales funnel with up to 10 products! I wouldn't recommend that because eventhough you can sift out the duds, it can also annoy your list!

I would stay with 3, test out different traffic sources, and expand the products if you have to!

Offer the OTO immediately. Chances are higher at this stage as they are on the buyer's mood/spree. Just ensure the OTO is a better solution than the main product.

I will also offer a Downsell (DS) to the buyer.
For the DS, take away some important components from the OTO, to justifies the price difference.

Offer them some upsells right after they buy from you. They already have a credit card in hand and are willing to spend more money for other products that you offer to them.

Get your first offer at a very low cost.
