Where Have I Gone Wrong With The Code for This Link?

Hi

I'm trying to insert an image link in a post but it's not showing correctly.

What I'm using is -

[IMG"]mysite/ppal.htm"][IMG]imagelink.gif[/IMG][/url]

However, I'm getting the image plus the [/url] at the side of it.

What am I doing wrong?

    Hi Mary..

    Have you clicked the add image button in the post editor?... it's the small yellow button that looks like a desert and sun image...

    Mary, Jay gave you the answer. There's a button in the "post" editor for inserting images. If you're in Quick Reply, it's the second to last button.

    Yes, it works for any post. Just go to the advanced editor, and you should see that butto Jay mentioned in the upper toolbar to the right someplace.

    mmurtha - sorry, maybe i'm a bit thick but I cannot see an advanced editor when I go to post a new thread in the forum. Maybe my settings are wrong.

    Go to User CP -> Options -> very bottom of screen to Message Editor Interface -> change to Enhanced.

    Should be good from there on.
