Successfully promoted an Amazon product that costs $1,000

This order was placed on Feb 3rd. To date, including yesterday, it still has not shipped and I have not gotten any earnings % from it. I'm expecting around $60 from it once it finally ships. Most products have a day, 2 day turn around as the max between order and shipping.

I checked out the product and it says and has said: in stock, ships from and sold by Amazon.

What the heck can be holding this up? Is it something I should be concerned with?

    I hear you. The problem is this is one of the products I just started focusing on promoting. Do you think this 10+ day turn around (assuming it ships today) will be the norm for every item bought?

      It all depends on the amazon seller, I have some items ship the same day they purchase and other others I don't see update 10+ days. I just focus on building up my amazon stores and as long as I see new orders coming everyday I'm happy =).

      Nah... Not at all. As mentioned above. it depends on variables like the seller, stock, etc.

    You can't be sure if it's the norm until you sell at least a handful of products. I've had items take nearly two weeks to ship. But it's not really that frequent.

    I wouldn't worry just yet.

      Well, it could be that the purchaser ordered the product and cancelled it before it had a chance to ship too. Those products will still show up in the order log despite never shipping out.

      I had a $600.00 and $1100.00 product ordered around the same date and they still are yet to ship out. I researched about it and found that the ordered may have been cancelled.
