Tracking Verified Subscribers

Hello All,

I know there are a ton of tools out there to track your opt-in rate of your forms...

But from my knowledge, none of these tools can track verified subscribers.

So in a typical solo ad, I get numbers like this:

100 clicks... 50 opt-ins (unverified + verified)... And 35 verified opt-ins...

Most tracking systems only track those 50 optins, not the 35.

The problem with this is verified opt-in rate varies greatly by source.

Some solo ads I've done lead to a ton of unverified opt-ins and little verified opt-ins. If you don't dig deeper by doing this analysis, you could deem a solo ad as successful when it was awful.

So... Is there a way to track the opt in rate of verified subscribers?

I talked to aweber and they said the only way I could is to count them manually, which is super time intensive.

I know some of you might say to just track the "thank you" page after someone confirms... But that won't work if you are doing multiple solo ads in a single day. You'll have subscribers coming from different sources hitting the same "thank you" page. So that method won't work.

Any other ideas?

Just out of curiosity. Doesn't aweber provide the feature where if a user opts in, they become a subscriber on your subscriber list, but then when they purchase one of your products they get moved to a 'buyer' list. So you know which subscribers are actually buying your products and you can keep selling more to them? and wouldn't this help you? I'm sure I've read something very similar to this elsewhere ! I'll go have a quick dig up.

You could just remove the double confirmation. I think most people around here go for single confirmation since it results in a higher number of people subscribing.
