Affiliate links in PDF Documents

Hello all.
I am seeing some of my pdf ebooks that have links to company's such as:
ShareASale.com
I know that the writer is an affiliate, but when I mouse over the link, it
doesn't show a cloaked url address, instead, it shows: ShareASale.com
Obviously the writer is an affiliate so how is he making it so that the
actual url of the site shows in the mouse-over?

Thanks for any ideas.
P.S. I am using openoffice.org for my pdf conversions.
