Please tell me what you think about this book promo

Hello guys,

I have been working on marketing different things for a while now and i recently ventured with a friend who has great experience in professional video production ... we have just finished our first video promo for a book ...

I really liked to share it with you guys and ill be grateful if you tell me what you think about it .... feel free to suggest anything ....

    Well, the video is well done and I thought the song worked really well. (That's it for the pleasantries).

    I thought it was just a tad slow/long. Also there is a typo at around 0:37 Would you stand to loose the love of your life? (Should be lose)

    At the end of the vid, the book should face towards the audience more.

    It's your book, but I'm not sure about using the letter U in place of You in the title.

    It's excellent, but I also agree that it is too long. Probably 1 minute is plenty long enough for a book video.

    Seems like it should be for a movie….

      Typo aside, I didn't think it was too long. The quality is excellent and I too thought it was like a movie trailer. The song as great as well. If I had to dig down deep and suggest an enhancement -- if you included a very brief dialogue between the man and woman to tease the audience-- something like "So you gonna leave me just like that" (just making this up) -- that would have been super. But bravo -- nice vid

        Thanks alot for your comment ... i really like the idea of adding a dialogue ... as we do the complete filming, scripting, casting and production so i think we can do it easily ....

        Do you guys think that this type of advertising can work with any other niche ?

            We are only providing the promotional videos .... we are not working on the traffic end for now ....

            i think this video can work well with the social media ..... our main idea is to work only on the production end of the advertising for now .....

              One question do you shoot the video yourself or you add some clips together. and if you add clips than where you buy these clips. and where you buy this song for your video.

              Just curious because the video is excellent and give me impression that I am watching an movie trailer.

                Hey Sanjay ..

                i am glad that you liked it ... basically the complete production is ours ... we have a team a professional for everything .... all these scenes are filmed and then edited and integrated together .... it takes around 3-4 weeks to complete this project ...

                    Thanks again for the interest ....

                    Basically the price varies depending on your requirement .... and the price of the footage .....

                    It can be as low as 400 $ where the footage will be pre-filmed but it will be edited in a professional way and the trailor will be provided in HQ definition ...

                    The cost for this trailor was around 2500 $ which included everything starting from casting, scripting till the finishing .....

              I think it would benefit well known authors best. Those are the ones that are going to have the fans already "looking". Otherwise, how do you get the right eyes on the video.

              But I can't help but feel a video like that would have other uses too.

              Like for example, maybe you could make videos for people to use who are in the dating niche... or maybe even weight loss? Doesn't have to be about a story, right? Because they are kind of like a commercial so I'm thinking one could use them to "advertise" their website or product....
