As you know when selling these products you will link to the merchant page which then offer a free scan for problems. When scan is finished the person will have to buy the software to fix them. Does anyone know how to properly setup a direct scan from your website but still get credit for the sale? I see a lot of people using this option but was not sure how still get the commission. |

Usually they visit your site with the ad that tells them to get a scan, when they click they get a cookie installed on their computer and if they buy, you get a commission. I guess to get a direct scan you can just cookie stuff them from your site immediately and re-direct them to the scan page. Of course it depends on the company and their TOS to see what you can get away with. |

Here's what i do Normally when you sign up for the program, the company will provide you with the link to the automatic download of the program, that has your affiliate id in it. If you deal with a company that doesnt automatically provide this for you, shoot them a email and let them know what you want to do. They will send you a link. hope this helps LaPrentiss |
