Anyone close to Jim Straw's family?

I know the great man is no more.

I am thinking of buying a course from his site, and want to ensure
the right beneficiary receives the payment.

I called on the phone no. mentioned on his site's Whois but no one's picking up.

Is there any warrior who was close to him and knows if Jim passed the torch
of his organization to someone.

Thanks!

If you can PM me the URL of this site so I might help you to find his recent manager's details...

I don't think it's a good idea to try and contact the mans family, during their time of mourning. I'm sure the proceeds from his product is going to his family, he probably has a family member attached to his paypal. Trying to dig up family contacts is not the best thing to do, most family members know nothing about IM.

Thanks Alex. Jim passed away two months back, but probably you are right.
I should have been more sensitive.

I don't think I've heard of the guy, but it's always sad to hear someone passed away.

You know -- I was wondering how come I stopped receiving Jim's monthly Business Lyceum Newsletter. The last one I received was November last year.

Jim was an ol' timer who made his fortune in direct mail and never really swayed much from that even when the internet came along. The "online" side of his business was very unorthodox. His email messages were short and he never sent his list those fancy launches we have come used to in IM.

I have had the opportunity to correspond with him via email twice and I found him to be a gentleman. You could email him for advice and he'll respond and in his monthly newsletters, he had a section where he gave free publicity to people with bizops.

On a side note, one of Jim's friends and another ol' timer - Dean F V Duvall retired some years ago for health reason. I wonder if he is ok?

Anyway -- RIP Jim. You were a class act and one of the greats!
