By random, I found dghate.com and made-in-china.com, are there any other/more popular?

    Martin - those are very dangerous marketplaces filled with scammers. How much research have you done on this subject?

    Importing from China is actually a very complex topic although 'DHGate' tries to make it look easy.

    Alibaba.com is the biggest one - BTW.

    I had great experience with Aliexpress! They have verified merchants and quick shipping with hassle free transactions. If you want more bulk, then check out alibaba. Make sure they are a gold supplier though!

    Please oh please be careful of the import/export fees and restrictions of certain goods being brought into the country. Certain items that could possibly pick up infections (food stuffs for example) are dangerous, especially meat and milk which has an expiry date.

    I'm guessing you're important non-perishable physical goods? If so, what? Details please

    As mentioned above Alibaba.com is probably the safest and best marketplace to use, however you should still be very cautious when engaging in business like this.

    Alibaba is all I've ever needed. Just do your due diligence, and make sure you also know about import duties, import tax, and that the products you're buying can be legally re-sold in your country without lots of expensive red tape.

    I helped a friend recently who wanted to simply import a certain type of product into the UK, sounds simple, it wasn't! Works out that they had to spend thousands on having products independently assessed & creating special info files & so on.

    Also make sure you get a sample first, I imported some MP4 players once that were supposed to be very similar to ipod touch, they were absolute crap, literally didn't even work! I had to throw them in the bin.
