Instead of Using Pen Names - Do This...

INTERNET MARKETING

I mentioned this to a guy today and I was shocked that he never thought of it.

He uses pen names on his sales pages so that people can't find all his sites in the search engines. But, he would actually prefer to use his own name in many instances.

I told him to simply display your name on the sites as an image and you won't have to worry about it getting indexed as text.

I just thought I'd share this here being that even an experienced marketer like my friend didn't realize it.

That's a great idea, I will do that. I have been spelling my name differently so people can't find all my sites if they search on google.

Just curious, why would you NOT want someone to see all your sites? why so much anonymity?

Thank you for answering, that may be a good reason, however there are many other ways to accomplish the task of finding sites owned by the same person.

  Of course, but none as easy as typing their name in Google.
  
  Another thing people do is use Whois Guard to keep their name anonymous in domain searches.
  
  I'm sure there are ways around that also like finding all the websites listed with the same Adsense ID.
  
  It's like security for your house. You can have a good lock, a pit bull, a pistol, and a security system, but still get robbed. However, people still use those as a deterrent.
