How much does it cost to paint a painting? How long is a piece of rope? You've got to be much more specific. There are LOTS of Warriors who can do this for you (check the appropriate forum section), or check Fiverr.com, elance.com, etc. Prices vary dramatically depending on what you need, voice over, live actor, if filming is involved, special effects, the skill of the person you hire, etc.

Pretty hard to improve on that response. There are just so many variables. Look at the big budget Hollywood movies that cost millions to make. You could make a movie of equal length for a couple of hundred bucks. But I doubt the latter will win an Academy Award.

But I will say something - 3 minutes is pretty long for a "commercial". If it's not totally fascinating you'll lose the majority of your viewers after 15 seconds - about the length of a typical TV commercial.

Then again Gangnam Style is now up to 1.3 billion views and it's over 4 minutes long. So perhaps just budget to hire Psy and a bevy of pretty ladies. Should only run you a few million.

It takes me 5 min to create a painting and my rope is 3 ft. To make a 3 min video it would cost me $1 to $8. Go to fivrr and purchase a video intro or you can make it yourself with something from videohive. You can shoot it yourself using a camera phone if you have a steady hand. The most important thing is to be entertaining and or informative. You can do something for free with animoto. If you are not the creative type you can pay for it all to be done like Mr. Gene said. This can cost between $5 to $5K depending on who you hire.

Very little information, could cost you anywhere from $10-15 on fiver to a few thousands depending on what you want done.

Have you ever posted a YT video before? Or are you specifically asking how much a 3 min commercial will cost if you hire a video crew?

Just make sure you have good lighting and a video will turn out surprisingly well with your smartphone.
