Hi i just wanted to know if anyone has made a substantial amount of money using videos from Youtube and Google traffic...thanks

What do you define "substantial amount" being? For some $100/mo is a lot, others $100,000/mo is a lot. Depends on your economic situation really...

They are both the best way to make money, especially posting videos on youtube.. Many people have become successful doing both!

I do not know what substantial is. Ah yes, I have made thousands of dollars with their partner program. Not all my videos did qualify, but that is yet another sorry saga. Google shares 50% of their profits with you and there are some you tube millionaire rock stars, but no one that is a friend of mine. I am paid via a check from Google that arrives every month - keep my fingers cross.

Right now I am waiting for a check that is over $2,000, but my taxes means I will only see about half of that one. Please add state income tax and federal income tax and you get approx 50% tax rate on you income. Still, it is a good gig.

Google does all the hosting, brings you traffic, etc.

There have been many people that make a substantial amount of money through YouTube. Many of them are funny videos and reviewers (like Ashens and Nostalgia Critic before he went to Blip), that make full-time income with YouTube and other streaming websites.

You can also make a lot of money by using YouTube to direct traffic to your website. Just add your URL to an annotation or the description. There are lots of ways to make money with YouTube if you can make funny, entertaining, informative or well targeted videos.

of course YouTube works! Just don't rely on it...alot of jealous competitors who like to flag videos and have their friends have them flag the same video as well!

Youtube and Google is one of the easiest way to make money. Why? Because it is easier to have a youtube video rank on page 1 of google than a complete website. I suggest you can take a look at the Warriors Special Offers (WSO) section for youtube marketing related courses if you really want to get started. Just type "WSO youtube" into google and you can find them. Some of the WSO about youtube marketing are free.

Yes, I've made money using YouTube traffic and Google traffic. As long as you have a sales page that converts well, you can make a substantial amount of income.
