Need Help In Ex Back Niche!

Hi guys,

I am trying to build a list in the ex back niche using PPC, but i realized that when i did a research on the search engines (both bing/yahoo and google, there wasnt even a single sponsored ad.

These keywords have the highest traffic but yet no ads on the search engines. is there a reason?

Also do you guy have any suggestions on how i can build my list in the ex back niche other than SEO?

Ive tried finding solo ads but cant really find any. I also looked for blogs with mailing lists to ask them for solo ads but so far all turned me down

Im thinking of trying Facebook Ads, but im not sure how to exactly target the demographics for this niche. Any ideas?

Any other suggestions will be great!

It seems to me those are red flags that this niche is not that great.

You're looking for people (losers, mainly) who have been dumped and are looking to get back with their ex?

Well, they aren't going to join Facebook pages about this subject or Tweet about it. They might search from their tear-stained keyboards late at night. That's why search engine traffic is the only viable source of traffic (and YouTube videos).

I would imagine very few of these people would join 'mailing lists' either, based on the nature of their problem.

So based on your expertise, you feel the only viable way for this niche is SEO?

You can always try second tier PPC to a squeeze page. Then send offers to the list.

The advantage to that approach is that you can target specific keywords and then try and pre-sell them.

The disadvantage is that 'second tier' PPC traffic is usually pretty hard to convert.

It seems to me this niche would be best served by creating a 'persona' who is a 'relationship expert' who has a blog, social, and video channels.

See "Michael Fiore" for an example.

If that sounds like a lot of work to you, it does to me too.

Ah thanks for the great advice!

Hmm..im just wondering, is it possible to use Google Display Ads for promoting this niche? I just use the banner and i send to the sales page?

Will Google ban me for this approach?

Google does not allow direct linking to sales pages any more. They stopped that practice a few years ago. I assume these are ClickBank 'Get Ex Back' products, in which case no direct linking on Google is allowed.

The would probably close your AdWords account.

Hey dude, it's not that the niche isn't viable or that great as some have suggested. If you look to other sources of advertising or even the Google Content Network so you can manage which websites you show up on.

Follow your instinct and try things for yourself. Try anything and everything and don't be afraid of failing. This advice goes for this niche and every other niche out there. Try and test and work. I've worked in this niche now for a few years and it's the main niche that I work in and it is profitable and easy to make money with if it's your desire to actually help people.

Thanks for your great advice! I do want to help people in this niche that is why im in it.

However im having a hard time getting traffic from paid sources. SEO will just take forever.

May i ask your advice on how you get your traffic from? Any tips would be great!

I do get a portion of my traffic from SEO but it doesn't have to take forever. Article marketing also works and I have found that this is where the majority of my traffic comes from if not a good portion. It's my thought that if you have a sincere desire to help others and you don't worry so much about the money then the money will come to you. There's a saying that if you help enough people get what they want (get their ex back) then you will get what you want (which is usually some income). These people are frantic for a solution and if you've ever been in their shoes then you know exactly how they feel.
