I could not create a new thread at the WSO Forum

Hi Fellow Warriors!

Although occasionally I visit the warrior forum to see what's happening, but it's been a while since my last post because I've been concentrating on my offline business ventures.

Now, I have a new online product being developed and I plan to run a WSO for that maybe by the first week of March. However, when I tried to create a new test thread just for me to see the functionality, I was told:

"Jess Baylon, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons: You may not have upgraded to a Full Warrior Member. Or, this may be a separate private forum."

But, I've been a Full Warrior Member for as long as I can remember! If I remember it right, I am one of the first 500 to Join the warrior's forum way back 1997 or 1998 and have been actively participating in the forum until 2008! And, if my memory serves me correctly, I even paid $30 or $35 during the time I joined.

Am I being penalized for not posting on this forum although I visit it occasionally?

Well, I hope someone can tell me what to do. I'm willing to pay for the renewal of my membership but I would like to request that the number of posts under my name be retained from the time I joined as I don't want to look like a newbie having only a few posts here!

Looking forward to an answer from anyone especially from one of the Mods.

    The answer is that in order to post in the WSO section, you first have to be a member of the War Room. That's different to regular forum membership.

      Oh, so there's new rule now. The last time I run a WSO was in 2007.

        Oh, so there's new rule now.
        Not a lot of people who've been around long enough to consider a change made in 2009 to be new.

        You were definitely one of the first 500 to sign up at the then-new version of the site in 2002. #433, to be precise. I don't think anyone but Allen could figure out the numbers before that, if he even has that data. I know it wasn't transferred over from the old Uni-Sol site.

    Honestly, I would not even bother posting a WSO.

    WSO traffic is only a fraction of what it used to be.

    I would launch on Warrior Plus or JVZoo. That's where all the top affiliates are nowadays.

    I also cancelled my War Room membership because for me it's not worth $97 every year.

    Maybe for a newbie it might be worth it to join for a year or two, as there is a lot of good information in there.

    I just got to the point where I had enough experience that I just wasn't really finding anything in there that justified the $97 per year membership.

    Also, I don't think you need to be a War Room member to do a WSO. I think they changed that, although I could be wrong. There have been so many changes since the takeover I couldn't be sure. Then there's the fact that they also changed things, found out it was better off left the way it was, and changed it back.

    If I'm being 100% honest, I have to say that I also didn't care that I was automatically billed $97 for another year of the War Room without being asked if I wanted to join for another year. I'm generally not a fan of billing that is done that way, with the exception of my autoresponders and web hosting accounts. I don't remember setting up automatic billing for the War Room, either, although maybe I did and just don't recall.

    At any rate, the War Room went from being like $37 for a 20 year membership to $97 for ONE year. I understand inflation and that prices have to go up and the company needs to make money, but maybe something like $37 per year would have been better.

    I think I would certainly be in for $37 a year, but not $97 a year.

    Like I said, if I was a newbie, maybe it would be worth $97 a year, but I was finding that most of the stuff posted in there was stuff that I already knew about.

    Just my experience and opinion. Everyone is different.
