help with google home page please

Hi there everyone,

when i open my google home page it always shows results from australia even though i have it set to google.com, is there any way that i can configure it so that it always shows results for say america?

    Well, it's showing results for Australia because it's based on your IP. I don't think you can change that on default, but if you want US results, you can try doing a search for whatever term and then add "&gl=US" without quotations to the end of the URL in the address bar and then load the page with the new URL. See if that will work for you.

    Hi Colleen,

    You may want to set the "Home City" or favorite city to one in the States. I travel back and forth, and I have it set to Charlottesville, VA, and that always brings up the US data no matter where I am.

    Also, make sure that you allow cookies and for some reason the cache is not getting wiped out.
