1. How much an amazon affiliate earn?

There are varying tiers to the Amazon affiliate program, once you have sold a certain amount of products you can move up to the next tier and earn a higher percentage commission. For Amazon.com i believe the maximum percentage is 8.5%, i could be mistaken though.

2. What are the steps to open a wordpress site for amazon products.

The same as any other site, just write good content and sprinkle in a few affiliate links every now and then in relevant places. Amazon also provide a store option whereby you can insert a whole amazon store on your website, you will have to research it a little more.

3. How to promote it.

SEO, PPC, Social bookmarking, Forum/Blog posting. Just use the search feature up above, you will find plenty of methods for driving traffic to you website and offers.

Everything Diice said is true. I would also add to add as much unique and helpful content as you can to your site. Try to make it an authority on your subject because just having amazon affiliate links all over your site will not bring traffic. Do not try to boil the whole ocean so look for a niche and stick to it.

  If you're asking technically how to do it - it's not that difficult. There are various wordpress plugins which work with Amazon Affiliates. But like everyone else is saying, it's not that simple, if you want to earn from it.

My suggestion is to go to Amazon.com where all of your questions are already answered. It is in your best interest to learn a business, make a plan for your business, and manage your business. One of the very first things you need to find out is if you can do business in your own state or country.

I think the limit is the sky as far as selling Amazon products is concerned! I got his great WSO from Erica Stone! ( I am not affiliated by the way), just giving you pointers. I know she is very reliable and ethical and has other Amazon-related products.

It's for Squidoo so if you want to set up a wordpress blog you need to get yourself a domain name and a host. There are great tutorials on Youtube. You can always promote it by linking Squidoo or Hubpages, Ezinerticles, blog and forum commenting.

I totally agree. This is an easy and fast way to make money online (see how I put the words fast and easy in there? It doesn't mean no work at all) and Erica Stone is great at giving you all the information you need to accomplish this.

Once you have a few lenses under you belt that make money, you can easily transfer the knowledge to a website of your own. Squidoo is a great way to test the waters, so to speak.

  Free traffic ie; article marketing, blog and forum commenting, guest blogging, social media! This is probably the backbone of "how" you should promote it! You could do press release too. However, stay away from content spinners as well as anything that looks "too good to be true" such as "buy 100000 backlinks" for 5 bucks!
  
  Google and other search engine like blogs that grow organically, ie gradually, day by day!
  
  Brainstorm some ideas, it's always good to stay away from your computer and THINK " how can I promote my site ORIGINALLY?"! Test, test, test! It will take a while but it's worth it!

amazon affiliate marketing convert well , but in electronics section they only gives advertising fee only 4%. so choose another micro niche . and you have to work hard .

I will try and answer these for you:

1. How much an amazon affiliate earn? Some earn nothing and others are making a very good living from Amazon.

2. What are the steps to open a wordpress site for amazon products? I take it you mean set up? It is fairly simple - you need a good theme though and have to know how to make the site SEO friendly.

3. How to promote it.

Yes, this is the big one!

You need:

A red hot product

Targeted Traffic

VERY STRONG call to action.

If you get those 3 things right - you should focus on producing quality content as often as possible for your blog and you will make sales.

Hi,

1. Depending on how much you work

There are affiliates who are making thousands/month. But this requires lots of researching and time.

2. You need a domain, a hosting and a good theme. You can go for a free theme ( I like Daily Post) or a paid one ( there are some very good themes here on WSOs). Install the theme and start making research for product ( the research for this niche should be made before domain purchasing)

3. SEO is the most efficient way. It takes time but if it's done properly, it's a great source of income

Try find a traffic source that is easy to obtain, then find products to promote instead of the other way around

amazon.com has too many products to promote; instead you may focus on a narrower niche, which you have a unique voice, and create some good solid content for people to link to.

Why amazon is turning down my website
Its saying this in email
"Thank you for your interest in the Amazon Associates Program.

We completed our review of your application to become an Amazon.com
Associate, which included a visit to the Web site where you planned to
create links to our store. After careful consideration, we have
decided that your site may not present a mutually beneficial business
opportunity. We have therefore decided not to approve your
application to become an Amazon Associate.

Accordingly, we have closed the account under which you had been
temporarily approved and that approval has now ended. Thank you for
your interest in Amazon.com."

It looks like the approval process is more stringent now.

The problem is that your site is badly designed and doesn't have any original content. It looks like the content is scraped from techrader.com

A site with non-original content and a store added is unlikely to get SEO traffic and even if it gets some it's unlikely to produce a sale.

You need to offer something of value to your visitors so they can trust your recommedation. What sort of interests do you have?

To earn with Amazon affiliate, you must sell more and more items on Amazon.com. But how to sell it? You can use facebook, post in to your friend wall, send it to more page and eventually have more like. With twitter, if you have more follower, tweet it and if they care, they can buy some product. However, the most effective method is to build a website to promote products. Here I present two methods to build a website to promote products and make money with Amazon affiliate.

First make a website to sell multiple products at once. Example: A website reviews the best Laptop in 2013. You can evaluate many different Laptop , as well as numerous advertising Laptops, compare and make cheap Laptop, the best Laptop.
Another example is the 2012 Thanksgiving gift website, you can share as a gift for friend, father gifts, co worker gifts.

This is is a site I use to develop my Amazon plugins and themes for client sites. It should give you a good idea of what my sites look like. My clients and I do very well with these types of sites because they look like we actually give a damn about them.

I strongly agree with those that say that you must provide original content. Simply copying Amazon pages is not adding value. Copying and pasting and using shortcodes do have their place when constructing Amazon affiliate sites and I do use them. But creating something of value for the customer is paramount and your own individual input is critical.

One of my sites is a review and comparison site which I believe gives visitors that original value and consequently, it has given me a regular income over the years. It allows visitors to choose between brands and models of secuirty equipment and then buy from a number of different merchants including Amazon.

At the low end it is 4% commission. However, if you sell seven or more items in one month it goes up to 6% - yes seven. Hey, that is not a lot of money. Well, we typically have approx 2% conversion. This is selling items that are under $100 in price. Keep on trying and wish all the best for you.

If you are setting up a site to promote Amazon products as an affiliate; always ask yourself, what does my site offer without any Amazon links?

Your site has to be viable without any affiliate links. Why should someone go through your site first? If there is no added value, the buyer would just search directly through Amazon.com.

You should be pre-selling any potential buyers, through original and informative content, blog posts, genuine reviews or any other creative ways you can think of.

This goes for any affiliate site.
