Best strategy for new product launch

Hi,

So I'm about to launch a new product (an IM video course aimed at newbies) and wondered what the best approach would be to launch?

So far, these are my ideas:
  • Create a great sales and product page and make myself accessible to buyers
  • List the product on RAPBank, JVZoo or Clickbank, not sure which yet
  • Create a great afiliate tools page, including email swipes and banners
Does anyone have any ideas? I have a small list that I can promote to myself and hope to avoid expensive advertising.

    You've pretty much got it covered.

    One of the biggest things will be to test your sales page (create 2 and split test) so that you have the best possible conversions.

    You could consider doing a WSO to get the initial buzz out as well as list it on sites such as LaunchBoards.com which help to spread the word and attract more affiliates.

    All of the affiliate platforms you mentioned are good, JVZoo may be the best for what you're doing...although RapBank has it's benefits as well.

    The main thing is that you stick with it

    Get your product listed on jvnotifypro to attract some affiliates. Although I have never launched my own product, I have advertised a lot of product launches. The products with the most success have a very professional sales page, tons of affiliate resources, a CLEAR description of the products benefits, and obviously affiliates who promote through their list.

    You can always try to purchase a couple of solo ads to get new people to your list or solo ads to try and attract affiliates for the product.

    Thanks for the advice guys. I'd not thought about a WSO but will look into it. Seems like they get a good response. As for jvnotifypro, i'll check that out too.

      Yup, JVnotifypro will list ur products for affiliates to promote it and also to attract the big boys to push it for you as they have massive email list.

    I'm in the same boat as you. Here's what I have been doing leading up to my launch in a few weeks:

    Getting my launch listed on LaunchBoards (AMAZING customer service. I even wrote an article for them), JV Notify, JVLaunchCalendar, and other similar sites.
    I've looked into V brokers, but they're a pretty penny for a maybe. I have been networking with numerous individuals (for example it's a guest posting based product, so I'm getting at people who deal with blogging products, traffic, etc.).
    Get into Facebook groups and Linked In groups as well.

    I was also encouraged to reach out And offer a product in a similar market a thank you page slot to build communication with them.

    Well you got the very basics down. Now you must dig a lot deeper into the stuff that really makes a successful product launch.
    • Create OTO
    • Create downsell
    • Niche research to work your sales funnel correctly
    • Niche research to price your product correctly
    • Find lots of niche authorities as potential affiliates
    • Start building a list as a prelaunch
    • Presell your product to create "hot buyers"
    • Have follow up messages
    • Work on an autoresponder series
