Best way to add 1h20m video to YouTube ???

Hey Warriors!

I just recorded an awesome interview for my niche that I want to pass around. 80min long, at over 400 megs, so YouTube won't like it as it is.

The audio is great, and I added a static image so it could be passed around the video networks.

What's the best way to cut up the content? Is there a program, aside from Windows Movie Maker that I could use to chop it up?

... or would it be better to have a short 2 min teaser of the interview on the video sites, leading them back to my website where the interview is?

ALSO -- If I did the second option, how would I host the audio? AudioAcrobat? Is that the best/cheapest solution?

Thank you!

    Kory --

What would you use to host the audio? An embedded SWF? Anything in particular?

    Any others with input?

I agree with the first response,

however if you still want to have the whole thing posted on a video site just use Google Video.

Nowdays it is essentially the same thing as YouTube, but it still accepts much larger videos (Ive seen up to 3 hours)

    Just a thought,

I'm not going to type a big paragraph and try and make you believe I know what I'm talking about when I don't! Lol

Definitely make a 'trailer' for Youtube and direct them to your website with the actual video. Now I'm not even sure how to host the video on your website. I figured you could use Quicktime or something to host the video on your website.

Not really my strong area but that would be 100 times better than making 8 different YouTube videos.

It is better to make your video in youtube short so that the viewers will be directly visit your website. And you can host your video in quicktime or FLV.

The only issue I see, Kory, is that a playlist in YouTube would be effective with the multiple videos. Also, I'd get the back-links, and have more room to do SEO on each post.

To me, that seems important. Then, if I pass all 8 videos through 7 video sites, that's quite a few places for people to see my content. ... or is this all too short sighted?

... still looking for a good way to deliver audio to my site.

The only problem with breaking one interview up into 8 videos is that you might lose a lot of views because it's all broken up.

Like, I don't know about everyone else, but I don't continue to 'find the next link' in a chain of videos.

Which that could just be me.
