How should I sell my product?

Hello,
First of all i'd like to say thank you to everyone who participates in this forum, as you can see this is my first post, but I have lurked for a while gaining valuable information, so thank you!

Now on to my question. I have an ebook that i wrote that fits under the stress management category of self help, I have a good looking site (in my opinion) and a decent squeeze page. However I am having trouble driving traffic to my site, and I am not too savvy at internet marketing. Preferably I would have a large affiliate network "selling" my product as my product is hosted with click bank. But like I said, I have trouble driving traffic to my site, this included potential affiliates. So:

Do any of you have suggestions as to a method for driving traffic to my site? or preferably attracting affiliates who will sell for me? I can provide content, I just fail at generating people to see the content.

Here is my website for referece:
The Secret To A Stress Free Life: Learn proven stress elimination methods and happiness boosters

and my squeeze page:
The Secret To A Stress Free Life: Learn proven stress elimination methods and happiness boosters

(p.s. if posting links to your website in the body is against the rules just let me know and i'll gladly remove it, like i said, i'm new here! :p)

You web page - I don't get the feeling that you're giving me a reason as to why I might want to read on - what are the problems you solve or the benefits you give?

You squeeze page - have you tested it, so see what versions work best? Personally I think that squeeze in the middle of the page is pretty ugly, but that might well be just me!

I think if it were me, I would be making your studies of ancient philosophies more prominent, if the guide uses those philosophies??

Thank you for the feedback! It is much appreciated, do you have any suggestions as to making my squeeze page more appealing? I'll try to work on making my "solution" on my pitch page more obvious.

    Thank you

If you are having trouble getting traffic, the problem could be you are not letting enough people know how to get to your squeeze page. You said you could provide content, so this is what I recommend, write an article every day for the next 100 days with a link to your squeeze page.

Submit your article to 10 article directories, that will give you 1000 links pointing to your squeeze page. Then make 100 video's, one a day using the very same content and submit them to 10 video directories, in the description point a link to your squeeze page.

Now that 200 days have passed you will have 2000 links pointing to your squeeze page and a small amount of traffic, but it won't be a lot, you will need to keep building traffic, so find other places to place your link.

If you haven't already got 2000 links out there, that is probably why you are having trouble getting traffic.

I suggest you try to add more credibility to your landing/squeeze page by adding more content and perhaps videos and more graphics in between your content. Having a testimonial section is great but you can improve this by adding people's photos as well.

    I hope that helps!

You could always try Adfly for cheap traffic? You can buy around 14,000 impressions of real, human proxy traffic for around $6. That won't attract new affiliates though, just potential subscribers. If you do buy this traffic, I'd advertise your squeeze page that you can then market to.

I actually posted a thread sharing a case study about traffic here - http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ase-study.html

    Hi everyone,

traffic is the key! If you need fast results get solo ads!

Or do it the hard way by getting links and free traffic:
Social media, forums, articles, video marketing, traffic exchanges and so on

If you're new, I think it's easier to get some SEO done, build some back links for free traffic rather than trying to figure out the paid stuff in addition to everything else you're learning. Also, a lot of newbies don't have the budget to spend on paid traffic at first. But if you start making some sales off of the free stuff, then you can use that money to experiment with paid.
