    I saw that come up - I have been using the open-source XVid4PSP -
    which is fast too, and handles the rather fussy job of cropping,
    but I'll check this out.

    One thing about these video converters is they generally encode
    FLV with an out-dated codec, producing flash of lower quality and
    larger file-size than the newer, proprietary codecs. If you want
    the fastest load-time, smaller file sizes and better quality-to-size
    ratio, encode to .AVI and then go to flash with a proprietary
    codec.

    In the interim stages these video converters are useful.
