Default Optimize Press video up load

Hey all,

I've noticed that it takes a heck of a long time for my video to upload and come up after it's there. Can you give me some suggestion please to streamline the process; if there are any?

I use Amazon S3 as they recommend.
Thanks.

Hi Wally,

Chances are your file could stand a little compression.

By reducing the file size it would load faster and so start playing right away without buffering.

The way to do this is to use a program called Handbrake. It's free and you can get it from:

HandBrake

If you then compare the file size of your original file with the one Handbrake produces you'll see it is reduced by as much as 66% - and yet there is no loss of quality.

Then, when you load your 'handbraked' file, you should see a dramatic difference in performance.

Warmest regards,

Paul
