I have recently realized my keyword hunting skills suck after getting several number one rankings on keywords that just flat don't matter. DUH

I have seen several wso for keyword identification and just wanted to see anyone had any good authoritative suggestions.

Willing to invest the money because I will see the return.

Is it just me or is it getting easier to rank in Google?

      Agreed. Most tools use the Google Keyword Tool anyway. So why not just go straight to the source? You can get pretty fancy if you pair it with the free version of Traffic Travis (to analyze top 10 competition) and Excel / Calc to sort all the data:
