Top Three Problems Being Successful Online

Successful Warriors,

I think people have a lot of concerns when it comes to making money online. But what are the big ones? The ones you solved that seemed like they changed everything?

What was your big aha moment?

What "flipped" the switch?

I'm talking about the three biggest concerns someone might have, that if solved, their problems would go away. And they could become successful?

Since many of you are like me...

You have probably struggled with some of these things:

- Don't know what to sell (overwhelmed with options)
- Don't feel qualified to sell (not an "expert")
- Can't decide on a business model (lack of "sticktuitiveness")

I think these are big issues.

But what about you?

If you're successful, what were the roadblocks that used to stand in your way, and how have you solved them?

If you're struggling, what do feel is your biggest problem you wish you could solve?

Marc

    Hello,
I think also that some people don't consider the online business as serious business and it's just for making some extra cash so when there is no immediate results they give up or try other things.

I agree. I forget who, but there was a post on here about a guy who recently quit his job to pursue IM full-time.

I'm paraphrasing, but he made more money in a couple months than he did in the previous six years, because now he was serious about making it work.

    - Don't know what to sell (overwhelmed with options)
Pick something that you are interested in (otherwise you won't stick at something you don't enjoy) but also research the market and get into conversations with your target market. Those conversations will cut down your overwhelm, since when you find an opportunity you'll get that 'run with this' feeling that will tell you which market you should be spending your most time in. In the internet business there is no substitute for research, planning and testing.

    - Don't feel qualified to sell (not an "expert")
Grab a copy of 'Power Selling' by George Ludwig, and a copy of 'Psycho Cybernetics' by Maxwell Maltz, and anything by Dan Kennedy. You'll soon realize you are what you say you are and that there are no qualifications in this business, it's simply based on experience and taking action.

    - Can't decide on a business model (lack of "sticktuitiveness")
Jump in and try one, the only way you can reach a goal is by getting in the corridor with what you have right now, and adjust along the way. Don't wait for the perfect business model, get started and the market will tell you what you are doing wrong and you can simply correct it based on the feedback.

I have been in online marketing for 5 years now and believe me its not easy. I have

bought all kinds of courses and products that did not work but I was determined to

    master this art.

My main specialties are video marketing, SEO, and lead generation and now I make great

money online after years of painful lessons. I do online marketing because I love the

game. The money is just a way of keeping score.

For me in the begining, which was not that long ago, I had no clue what I was doing. It was all Big Glittering Balls, all saddle and no horse so to speak. Like most newbies I made a lot of mistakes, spent a lot of money, and got frustrated because I just did not understand the process of IM. Finding a good coach and a few mentors, made all the difference in the world.

    Just my take

    Hey Marc,

I have struggled in the past with those 3 things.

I have struggled with information overload and trying multiple things at once.

I can tell you from experience that embarking on multiple projects at once is just about as efficient as doing nothing in the first place.

As soon as I realized that, my mindset changed.

I saw an opportunity and I stopped thinking about the what-ifs. I stopped thinking about the other business models I had because I knew this one would work if I just applied myself.

I gave 110% effort towards it and didn't let anything stop me. I hurdled over every road block and kept moving forward, no matter how uncomfortable it was.

Now that I can reflect back on it, I am very proud of all that I have accomplished.

My only concern I have now is that all the effort I put in and all the time and energy I expended will go unnoticed.

This concern acts as motivation and pushes me even further towards my goals because with every task I take on, I strive to be the best and put in my best effort. I will not stop until I am satisfied with the results.

I think the biggest problem is "information overload". There seems to be endless amounts of clever ideas everywhere about making money online. But the reality is that our business is just like any other business out there. Needs a lot of time, planning and taking action. Even if you are going to work at Fiverr - you need a business plan...

  • I''ll address one:

    >>>- Don't feel qualified to sell (not an "expert")<<<

what happened to me is I just did a sales pitch once and people started asking me questions and I realized regardless how little I know for those people I was the expert and that gave me confidence.

One easy way is make a presentational on something you like, you can research it, then invite people to a webinar you don't have to sell anything just to build your confidence then ask what questions thye have then go and learn that do another one, after a few your >>- Don't feel qualified to sell (not an "expert")<< will be solved.

It's not as hard as you think. Good luck.
