Need advice on how to setup tracking for solo ads

Hey, I'm confused on how to give my squeeze page link to the solo provider. I would like to track its clicks. If my website is howtomakemoney.com...what would I give the provider? Any examples on how to do this would be great! Thanks

Adtrackz gold is a great tool, but if you have no budget you could try pretty link lite which is free WP plugin, after you download it to your WP dashboard if using WP then you can cloak your link as such.

www.mydomain.com/soload or www.mydomain.com/gift1 etc if you were to do a solo as or gift etc just showing example

Then if you were using another provider just set up a new /soload1 etc link and this way you can see where or whom your clicks are coming from.

Hope this provides you with a free alternative which does a job as a starting point prior to shelling out any more

By the way you do not need your squeeze page etc to be on WP to use this, on some domains I have just installed wp on a domain to use this and then have my squeeze as html elsewhere.

pretty link has a dashboard that shows you how many clicks each of your links got and where they came from

I've spent the last 59 months building 412 MFA sites. Each site averages 8 cents per day...I said average, some make up to 17 cents per day, PASSIVE INCOME! This income allows me to live comfortably and buy ANY flavor Jolly Rancher or Skittles I desire. Don't give in to fear, it CAN be done!

I use a service called Trck.Me to monitor all my pages I advertise.

The key thing here is to make sure that the advert you run has a good enough sales funnel in place to cover the cost of the advert, and at least break even in return for the list.

You can also go to bit.ly and paste your website in there.

Give the solo provider the link it gives you.

That can track the amount of clicks, and where the clicks come from

You have no control with bit.ly and a lot of email filters will get triggered and could put the solo advert you just paid for into the spam folder of the recipients. It's essentially designed as a shortening service for twitter and you've got to trust the person who's linking before clicking.

When it comes to tracking you need to pay for a service. Doing it on the cheap will harm your business.

Yea this is a good point. Just to add to this, from my own experience.

bit.ly as well as the google shortener sometimes mark affiliate sales pages as spam and block the link. So if you have used a shortener like this and someone clicks your link they are taken to a warning/blocked page.

This has happened to me on a couple of occasions when sending traffic to clickbank sales pages. Stay away from these as they can hurt you and cost you money. Just a heads up to folks out there.

    Hi,

Can anyone recommend a solution that is capable of tracking solo (or other paid traffic) links across multiple domains that I own? For reasons - don`t ask - I have one funnel where the squeeze is currently on different domain than where it redirects after opt-in. To make it worse, squeeze is on WP site (which is easier to track) but the sales page after that is on a membership platform to which I don`t have 100% control to and can only place any tracking tools inside the HTML code of its pages. Is there a way for me to track which ads converted to how many opt-ins and which of those made how many sales..? Am I in the middle of logistic nightmare? Im gonna migrate my membership site to the domain where my squeeze is later on, but for now I have to go with what I have because it is extremely time sensitive and re-setting the membership site (which is BIG) would take too long. Any advice appreciated, thanks.

You can try to use Adtrack Gold or Quality Click Control as these 2 are the most common used script by people who are in the solo ads industry.

I recommend Ad Trackz Gold. But if you're still starting out, you can use Click Meter. It's free for 1000 clicks a month.

I would recommend Tracking202, its free and its very trustworthy and easy to use. Install it on your own domain and you're good to go.

Then all you would have to do is input your domain(opt-in page), it will then give you your tracking link and give that to your Solo Ad provider.

    Cheers

And if you are using a unique Aweber web form (for each solo) you can keep track of your squeeze page conversion performance from the views.

You could then track sales by using google anaytics code on your download page ie where your buyer arrives following payment.

      Hope this helps.
