Promoting Clickbank Products with a Blog?

Was wondering if anyone has experience with this? Using a viral blog to promote affiliate products such as clickbank? Does it work? If so how do you do it? My question is how do you find a product? Then when you write a blog and post about it, do you review the product or write a general post about what the product may be offering or just a generic post about something related to the product then reference them to the product? Any insight is much appreciated!

    Here's how you do it.

You start a blog in a niche you're passionate about.

You target low competition keywords that are easy to rank.

You get traffic and begin building a list.

You promote affiliate products from clickbank to your subscribers.

You make money and rinse and repeat.

This is the blueprint to make money off of your blog promoting affiliate products.

As Malcolm said, target low competition whilst building up your list. Most likely you won't get a ton of front end sales (people first coming to your site). That's why you have to snag them with a well designed email campaign.

How do you propose to get traffic?

You forgot to mention a Squeeze/landing page to build a list from the traffic, if you ever get any from this blurb.

      Traffic + Squeeze page + bribe + list + offer + OTO = income

The very first thing to know is that you are probably competing with millions and millions of bloggers from all over the world. And since ClickBank is a popular site, there is no USP of what you are offering for them to buy.

Okay, having said that, blogging per se is a crowded place these days. Don't worry about what others have already done. Worry about what you might do. If you think that since Jeremy Shoemoney raked in thousands of dollars from blogging alone, you will be able to do it, you are WRONG. Why? Because he started blogging when blogging was new. You are starting to blog when blogging is saturated and dated.

You need something special to stand out. And if you can provide something unique, something better, something that stands out, then you are "in the money", my friend. Find that out first.

Either approach can work, as long as you understand the fundamentals of promoting ClickBank products and appreciate that the primary purpose of the blog is to build your subscriber-lists, not to try to sell ClickBank products "off the page".

If you could be able to mix and match reviews with a valuable blog post for the related affiliate products, you should have no issue on promoting them on your blog.

People like to read reviews before they decide to buy or not and if you could slightly provide more decent information about the advantages of the product and also the reason why it's been chosen as your review should do good for earning the affiliate income as well.

As well as doing blog reviews though, if you have a specific niche were there are some obvious products to recommend, I would make them visible on a recommended resources page. I make a lot of click bank sales following free consultations, where I will recommend a particular product. I also have various keywords on my site automatically promote certain products. Good Luck.
