Hello Everyone,

I am getting unique visits to my site daily from search engines but the total unique visits that come to my site daily from search engines is less than 100 and I want this figure to move up to 1000+.

What else can I do to improve my search engine visibility? Please share your ideas.

Thank You

What are you doing right now to improve your rankings? Your pages on your site should be optimized for the keywords you are targeting, then you need to build quality backlinks.

This is all pretty straightforward SEO stuff, but generally you need to build lots of good backlinks overtime.

    Target more low competitive keywords.

Offsite seo such as articles marketing, video marketing, or social bookmarking, erc..

You just need to have 100 traffic views from each source, => 1000 visitors.

You could go say hi in the SEO forum. There are some nice folks that if you ask them nicely they will give you some free advice, you might start a thread there with a link to your site.

More unique content, More relevant backlinks

Slow and steady, do not buy 10,000 backlinks out of the blue - you will sink your site

I did this with one of my sites and it works pretty good.

I would write an article a day with a nice keyword. Get a few back links a day.

I found out that the more/longer I did this, I would get indexed faster and my over all site would rank higher/faster.

Just remember, you want buyers keywords and quality unique content.

    Why

Quality is usually a lot more helpful than quantity, in internet marketing.

I would want to develop other, non-SEO forms of traffic instead. SEO is the kind of traffic I least want to attract to any of my sites.

Personally, I'd advise you not to put too much of your time and effort into trying to attract SEO traffic, for two main reasons: first, it's very precarious and makes your business Google-dependent, and any business that's Google-dependent is no more than one algorithm-change away from a potential accident (or even a potential disaster), as so many Warriors have been finding out over the last year or two, some of them to their very great cost; secondly, for me, search engine traffic has been uniformly the worst-converting traffic out of everything I've ever tried - search engine visitors to all my websites typically stay the least time, view the fewest pages, opt in the least often and actually buy anything by far the least often. I admit I do get tons of search engine traffic to all my main sites (because high rankings for multiple keywords happen to be a minor side-benefit of the main targeted traffic-generation method I use) but I'd hate to have to make a living just from that traffic.

    Have you done YouTube marketing?

Target a certain keyword and include a link back to your site (or certain page) pertaining to the keyword you are going after.

I've had some success with doing that in one of my niches

The above advice is all very good. And you will need good seo to rank higher and increase your organic traffic. Depending on the topic there are also lots of other places to get traffic from. Ie. Web 2.0 like facebook, twitter, linkedin, etc...

At the end of the day you can only get the traffic that the keywords provide. For example if your keyword only gets 50 searches a day it will be difficult to get 1000 searches a day for it.

You can combat this by increasing the keywords and thereby increasing the size of your niche. Sometimes a niche can be too small.
