Sites that held out and missed out.....
Yahoo was offered 44.6 billion by MSN back in Feb of 2008. ..... today is only worth 20 billion.
Digg was worth 164 million in 2008...... today it sold for 500,000.
Marketingtips.com ....... was probably worth around at least 20 million or more at one point. ...... now it's lucky if it could be sold for 1 million

...... I think if it was me and I was able to get a site to the point were it was actually worth something of significance, I'd take the money. A sites value could go up or down. And so easily go down with the slightest changes in the marketplace. food for thought.
