Default Why are so many people in network "MARKETING" bad at marketing?

It’s amazing how many people in network marketing are lousy marketers.

Anybody that thinks this business isn’t sales or marketing is fooling themselves.

It says marketing right in the business title Network MARKETING.

If you talk about your product with your friend and they didn’t buy it does your company pay you?

If you talked about your business opportunity with someone and they didn’t become 1 of your business partners did the company pay you?

Like it or not, the only way we get paid is when our company generates revenue.

Network marketing is all about sales and marketing.

Yet we have so many people that get started in this that don’t have any sales or marketing experience.

What’s even worse is they don’t get any training in sales or marketing.

Yes we get great training from our sponsors, but many people’s sponsors don’t have any training in sales or marketing either.

This has a ripple effect all the way down.

We need to let your prospects know this is about sales and marketing.

If someone doesn’t like sales and marketing they shouldn’t be in this industry.

If a person doesn’t have experience in sales or marketing, that’s fine but we need to make sure they’re willing to get trained in that field.

People with no marketing experience are going to have a hard time selling their product, if they’re not trained in the field of marketing.

To get the sale, or to sign up that business partner you need to be able to communicate the benefits they’ll receive from doing the desired action.

Everyone favourite radio station is WII.FM (What’s In It For Me).

You can have the greatest product, or the greatest compensation plan, but if you’re a lousy marketer you’ll have a hard time succeeding.

Our ability to market and sell a product are far more important than how great the product is.

If the product sells itself, then why does the company need you and me to market and sell their product?

The more we understand the sales and marketing aspect of this industry the better we’ll be in this industry.

It doesn’t stop there cause the more we let the people in our organizations know this, the stronger the organization will be.

If you want a big organization with weak business partners that you need to always baby-sit, go out there and sign up distributors with no sales or marketing experience and to people that are not willing to get sales or marketing training.

But if you want a big solid organization, that can massively build your organization with or without you, you need to sign up business partners experienced in sales or marketing, or at the very least willing to learn how to be good in sales or marketing.
