Hey guys and girls,

I am considering having a press release written up for my upcoming product launch but as there are so many traffic generating tactics out there should a press release be one of them?

Are they still viable?
Do they work?
Where are the best places to submit them?

All responses greatly appreciated from my fellow warriors

Yes, press releases are great for gaining targeted traffic and to spread brand recognition!

Yes, press releases are a great way to grab some targeted traffic as well as increase your visibility. If you are planning to submit a press release, I do recommend going with paid pr service as opposed to just the free sites. as Trafficmasters mentioned, SBWire is a good one. We personally use them for our submissions.

yes they still work, because I've seen fiverr gigs with 50 orders in Que about this!

Yes. I use PRWeb for new blog posts etc. and they drive loads of traffic. Well worth the expense as long as you convert traffic decently.
